For guests driving, turn off the N59 Ballysadare to Ballina Road at the ‘crooked bridge’ (as marked on Ordinance Survey maps) and where there is the Skreen Primary Care Practice and St Adamnans Church graveyard onto the route 2203. The turn has signposts both for ‘Ladies Brae‘ and ‘2023.’ There is also a local interest brown sign for ‘Holy Hill Hermitage.’

Proceed on the 2203 for 3 kilometers. You will pass the stone entrance gates on the left to Holy Hill Hermitage. After the Hermitage there is a steep short downhill. At the base of the hill on the left and set back from the road is a iron gate with a blue sign ‘please close the gate.’ There is also a Failte Ireland green sign at the base of the stone wall on the left. You can see Carrowcullen the Old Irish Farmhouse set back from the road on its own lane.

This is a private lane leading to Carrowcullen the Old Irish Farmhouse on the right behind original iron gates. Parking for two guest cars is just beyond the shed on the left and in between that shed and the two storey shed.
