The Sligo County Fleadh 2023 in Easkey 2nd-5th June 2023: Event Promises to Celebrate Irish Traditional Music in Style!
The Sligo County Fleadh 2023 is fast approaching (2nd-5th June) with excitement mounting for the participants and their supporters, organisers and prospective attendees. This year’s host is the west Sligo Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann Tireragh.
The event will be held in the picturesque coastal village of Easkey in West Sligo on the Wild Atlantic Way which is doing its utmost to welcome the event. Music literally will be everywhere in Easkey’s air!
Competition categories include: Sean Nós and Ceilí dance, solo instruments (whistle, harp, fiddle, flute, button accordion, piano, drums, mandolin, banjo, Uilleann pipes) singing, whistling and slow airs as well as duet/trio/group and Grupaí Cheoil and Ceilí Bands.
